Arsenalet Accelerator Program supports emerging game companies by providing a structured environment to develop sustainable business practices, understand the funding landscape, and refine projects.
Admission to the program is a process designed to identify ambitious teams with innovative projects and a strong commitment to growth.
With the tailored program we provide game developer start-ups with the best foundation to succeed as a company through mentorships, business development and network activities.
The program consists of an overall process that shifts between mentoring, workshops and network events. The process is agile and allows for reassessment and adaptation of the program throughout the program period.
During the program, the teams will visit industry and community events, with both network building and pitch training in mind. The teams will expand their network with studios, investors, and advisors, building up important understanding of the industry and investor expectations. The industry events will be local, national and international.

Just next door Arsenalet you find The Animation Workshop, Europe's 2. Best school within its field of Animation, Character Design, Computer Graphic Arts and Graphic Storytelling. With its international profile it gathers some of the best talents in the world and has a steady flow of high-profile guest teachers and Industry professionals from some of the largest companies within gaming and animation. This brings a large array of projects to our local ecosystem. For example, the large Avenue EU project, that brings together some of the largest Universities and companies in Europe within the fields of Animation, Gaming, VFX, VR and Storytelling. The projects bring new knowledge and research as well as lots of masterclasses, workshops, project jams and events for you to participate in.
The Software Engineer Education is in the same location as The Animation Workshop and is developing the future talents for the gaming industry in close collaboration with The Animation Workshop, the students are joining Game Jams and are engaging in Arsenalets events as well.
In Viborg you also find Media College Denmark, another well renowned school educating professionals for the film industry, photography, and web.
You will also find yourself surrounded by possibilities to join in events in the city that are tailored to young people moving to Viborg, where the initiative Karrrieby Viborg is doing social events, and are both allowing you to plan your own workshops or participate in pre-planned workshops. You could also join the professional network Viborg Creative Alliance and let yourself meet up with the vast array of creative professionals in Viborg when they do their networking events with both networking opportunities and exciting talks, collaborative art projects or inspirational tours.
And last but not least, Viborg is home to the fantastic Viborg Animation Festival - VAF. They are also residents at Arsenalet, but once a year, in September, the whole city comes alive, with both Animation, Illustration and Gaming related events.
